Power Liftgate System: Hinge: Removal

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the liftgate to replace one or both hinges. The hinges can be replaced one at a time.

Open and support the liftgate.
Remove the upper liftgate opening trim panel. Refer to REMOVAL .
Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the hinge location.
Remove the hinge screws and remove the hinge. (Fig 1 ) and (Fig 2 )
