5-Volt Supply

There are 2 different 5-volt supply circuits: a primary circuit and a secondary circuit. Secondary 5-volt supply circuit may also be referred to as auxiliary 5-volt supply circuit. Primary circuit provides a 5-volt power supply to the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor, Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor, Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and Throttle Position (TP) sensor. Secondary circuit provides a 5-volt power supply to the oil pressure sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) and transmission pressure sensor, A/C Pressure Transducer and Transmission Solenoid.
