Courtesy Lights Inoperative - All Lights

Possible Causes:

Testing

  1. Remove dome light cover. Ensure dome light bulb is okay. Using a test light connected to ground, probe Pink/White wire connector. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open Pink/White wire between dome light and fuse No. 24 (10-amp) in Power Distribution Center (PDC), located in right side of engine compartment, next to battery.
  2. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Connect jumper wire between instrument cluster harness connector C2 terminal No. 5 (Yellow wire) and ground. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, replace instrument cluster.
  3. Remove jumper wire. Check resistance of Yellow wire between instrument cluster henries connector C2 terminal No. 5 and dome light connector. See If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open circuit on Yellow wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, problem does not exist at this time. Check for intermittent condition.
