All Doors (Except Driver's) Door Fails To Unlock

  1. Remove passenger's front door inner trim panel. Disconnect Passenger's Door Module (PDM) C1 connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between ground and PDM C1 connector terminal No. 7 (Pink/Violet wire). See Figure . If resistance is 20 ohms or greater, go to next step. If resistance is less than 20 ohms, repair short to ground in Pink/Violet wire. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. Replace PDM. See POWER WINDOWS - GRAND CHEROKEE article. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
