High Beam Indicator Light Test

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Reconnect battery cable. Turn ignition on.
  2. Turn headlights on. Select high beams. Check for battery voltage at instrument cluster Blue C2 connector terminal No. 5 (Red/Gray wire). If battery voltage exists, go to replace bulb. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open circuit between multifunction switch and instrument cluster.
