Vehicle Theft Security System Verification Test

  1. Ensure all doors, hood and liftgate are closed.
  2. Open driver's door.
  3. Remove ignition key from ignition switch. Keep key in hand.
  4. Lock doors using Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter.
  5. Close driver's door.
  6. If VTSS LED indicator flashes, system is operational.
  7. If VTSS LED indicator does not flash, go to VTSS INDICATOR INOPERATIVE  in VEHICLE THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM under SYSTEM TESTS.
