Body Verification Test

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors. If BCM was replaced, turn ignition on for at least 15 seconds.
  2. Ensure ignition is on. Erase all DTCs using scan tool. Turn ignition off and wait 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and fully operate system that was malfunctioning.
  3. If system is not operating properly, go to IDENTIFYING VEHICLE COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS  . Using scan tool, read Body DTCs. If any DTCs are present, go to IDENTIFYING VEHICLE COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS  . If no DTCs are present, system is operating correctly and customer's complaint cannot be duplicated, repair is complete.
