Test NTC-17B: Checking EVAP System
NOTE:
This test does not apply to AB body. EVAP purge solenoid may also be referred to as EVAP solenoid. For component location, see appropriate THEORY & OPERATION article.
Disconnect EVAP solenoid-to-EVAP canister hose at EVAP canister. Attempt to blow air through EVAP solenoid-to-EVAP canister hose. If air flows, replace EVAP canister and perform TEST VER-2A: ROAD TEST VERIFICATION . If air does not flow, repair or replace hose and perform TEST VER-2A: ROAD TEST VERIFICATION .
