Power Mirror Test 4A - Mirrors Inoperative From Left To Right
NOTE:
Perform POWER MIRROR TEST 1A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector. Ensure all connectors are clean and tight.
- If problem is with passenger's mirror only, go to step 3). If problem is not with passenger's mirror, move mirror select switch to left mirror. Using scan tool, observe mirror left switch and press mirror left switch. If scan tool does not display CLOSED, replace driver's door module. If scan tool displays CLOSED, go to next step.
- Disconnect driver's power mirror connector from passenger's door module. Connect test light between terminals "G" and "A" on driver's door module power mirror. See Figure under POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 2B. Using scan tool, actuate left mirror from left to right. Observe test light. If test light flashes when mirror is actuated in both directions, replace driver's power mirror. If test light does not flash when mirror is actuated in both directions, replace driver's door module.
- Disconnect passenger's power mirror connector from passenger's door module. Connect test light between terminals "G" and "A" on driver's door module power mirror. See Figure under POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 2B. Using scan tool, actuate passenger's mirror from left to right. Observe test light. If test light flashes when mirror is actuated in both directions, replace passenger's power mirror. If test light does not flash when mirror is actuated in both directions, replace passenger's door module.
