Interior Lighting Test 7A - Liftgate (Cargo) Courtesy Light Inoperative

NOTE: Perform INTERIOR LIGHTING TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . After each repair, perform TEST VER-1A  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector. Ensure all connectors are clean and tight.
  1. Disconnect liftgate courtesy light connector. Connect a jumper wire between terminals "B" (Pink wire) and "C" (White/Light Green wire) on liftgate connector. If liftgate courtesy light goes out, replace liftgate courtesy light assembly. If liftgate courtesy light does not go out, leave jumper wire connected. Go to next step.
  2. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) Black 14-pin connector. BCM is located under left side of dash. See Figure in CHIME TEST 3A. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage at terminal No. 6 (White/Light Green wire) on BCM Black 14-pin connector. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in White/Light Green wire. If voltage is 10 volts or more, replace BCM.
