Test VER-1A - Verification Procedure

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnect connectors. Turn ignition on, engine off. Using scan tool, erase all fault messages. Turn ignition off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn ignition on, engine off. Operate system that is malfunctioning. If system does not operate properly, perform TEST 1A  - IDENTIFYING VEHICLE COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. If system operates properly, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, read fault messages. If fault messages exist, perform TEST 1A  - IDENTIFYING VEHICLE COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS. If fault messages do not exist, repair is complete.
