NOTE:
Two speed sensors (input and output) are used on 1998 models while 1997 models only use one (output). The following procedure applies to output speed sensor only. Information for removal and installation of input speed sensor is not available from manufacturer. For speed sensor testing, see AISIN WARNER 4 ELECTRONIC CONTROLS article.
