Power Seat Adjuster/Motors Test
- Operate power seat switch so that all 3 motors have been energized. If one or more motors operate, see POWER SEAT SWITCH TEST . If no motors operate, go to next step.
- Check circuit breaker. See CIRCUIT BREAKER TEST . Replace circuit breaker as necessary and recheck system operation. If circuit breaker is okay, remove power seat switch. See POWER SEAT SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal "B" (Red/Light Blue wire). If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair open circuit between circuit breaker and power seat switch connector.
- Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between ground and terminal "A" (Black wire). If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open Black wire to ground.
- Test power seat switch. See POWER SEAT SWITCH TEST . Replace switch as necessary and recheck system operation. If switch is okay, replace faulty power seat adjuster/motors assembly and recheck system operation.
