Description & Operation

Right and left mirrors are controlled by a single multifunction switch on driver's door trim panel. Multifunction switch integral to Driver Door Module (DDM). A 3 position rocker-type switch is moved to select left (left mirror control), right (right mirror control) or center to turn power mirrors off. Then one of 4 directional control buttons is depressed to control movement of selected mirror up, down, left or right. These buttons control polarity of voltage to 2 motors within each mirror. The side mirrors may be equipped with a heating element for defogging. The heating function is activated by rear window defogger switch.
