Trouble Shooting

On models without Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system, go to DOOR MODULE  test under TESTING. On models with RKE system, note power lock system and illuminated entry system operation as lock and unlock functions are actuated with power lock switches and RKE transmitter.

• If entire power lock system fails to function with power lock switches or RKE transmitter, see PASSENGER DOOR MODULE  under TESTING.
• If system functions with both power lock switches, but not with RKE transmitter, see REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER  under TESTING.
• If one power lock motor fails to operate with both power lock switches and/or RKE transmitter, see POWER LOCK MOTOR  under TESTING.
• If Remote Keyless Entry and power lock systems are functioning properly, but illuminated entry system is inoperative, see REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER  under TESTING.
