Circuit Breaker Test

  1. Check for battery voltage between ground and Red wire connected to circuit breaker No. 2, located in junction block. Junction block is mounted on right cowl side kick panel below right end of instrument panel.
  2. If battery voltage exists, check for battery voltage between Tan wire connected to circuit breaker and ground. If battery voltage exists at only one circuit breaker terminal, replace faulty circuit breaker. If battery voltage does not exist at circuit breaker, repair open in Red wire between circuit breaker and Power Distribution Center (PDC).
NOTE: On Grand Cherokee, if problem being diagnosed is rear door window that won't operate from rear door switch, see POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST  . If problem is both passenger windows operating only from their respective switches, use DRB scan tool. See BODY CONTROL COMPUTER article.
