Electric Cooling Fans: Operation
When engine coolant temperature reaches 217°F (103°C), PCM grounds cooling fan relay to supply battery voltage to cooling fan. Cooling fan relay is located in Power Distribution Center (PDC), on passenger's side of engine compartment, near battery.
When coolant temperature is less than 208°F (98°C), PCM opens ground circuit to cooling fan relay, stopping cooling fan operation. Cooling fan will operate whenever A/C is in use.
