Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. Turn ignition off. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Using a dry shop towel, clean area surrounding Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) prior to removal. Remove bolt attaching WSS to steering knuckle.
  2. Unseat grommet retaining WSS wire in wheelwell panel. Disconnect WSS connector in engine compartment. Disconnect WSS harness from retaining clips on body, chassis and steering knuckle. Remove WSS from vehicle.
