All Windows Inoperative

  1. Check circuit breaker No. 6, located in fuse block module. See CIRCUIT BREAKER TEST  under TESTING. If circuit breaker tests as specified, go to next step. If circuit breaker does not test as specified, replace faulty circuit breaker.
  2. Remove driver's door power window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between switch connector terminal XD (Black wire) and chassis ground. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If no continuity exists, repair open in Black wire between switch connector and chassis ground. If continuity exists, go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage at switch connector terminal YB (Tan wire). If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Tan wire. If battery voltage exists, go to POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST  under TESTING.
