Steering Column: Overhaul: Notes

CAUTION: Manufacturer does not recommend overhaul of steering column If service is required, replace steering column as an assembly. Steering wheel, switches and wiring can be serviced separately.

The following steering column components can be serviced without removing column from vehicle.

Lockplate Cover
Lockplate
Steering Shaft Retaining Ring
Canceling Cam
Turn Signal Switch
Upper Bearing Preload Spring
Ignition Key/Lock Cylinder
