Test 13A - Repairing Door Ajar Warning Light

  1. Ensure all doors and liftgate are adjusted and aligned. Close all doors. Using DRB, read left front door ajar switch status. If DRB displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to TEST 40A  . If DRB does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, open left front door. If DRB does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to TEST 40A  . If DRB displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to next step.
  2. Using DRB, read right front door ajar switch status. If DRB displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to TEST 41A  . If DRB does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, open right front door. If DRB does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to TEST 41A  . If DRB displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to next step.
  3. Using DRB, read side door ajar switch status. If DRB displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to TEST 42A  . If DRB does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to TEST 42A  to diagnose a short in side door ajar circuit.
