Test 19C - Diagnosing Door Lock & Unlock Circuit

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Turn ignition off. Remove appropriate door panel to gain access to inoperative door lock switch. Using DRB in voltmeter mode, backprobe fused battery feed circuit (Pink wire) at door lock switch. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire. Perform TEST VER-1B . If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Backprobe switched door lock output circuit (Orange/Violet wire) at door lock switch. Observe DRB while depressing power door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is less than 10 volts when switch is depressed, replace defective door lock switch. Perform TEST VER-1B . If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Backprobe switched door unlock output circuit (Pink/Violet wire) at door lock switch. Observe DRB while depressing power door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is less than 10 volts when switch is depressed, replace defective door lock switch. Perform TEST VER-1B . If voltage is more than 10 volts when switch is depressed, repair open Pink/Violet wire and Orange/Violet wire. Perform TEST VER-1B .
