Test B: One Window Operates

  1. Remove door panel of inoperative window, probe harness side of unplugged motor connector.
  2. Measure voltage at motor connector terminal No. 2, holding switch in the DOWN position. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open back to master switch.
    3. CAUTION: Maintain DOWN position while meter lead is attached.
  3. Measure resistance at motor connector terminal No. 1, holding switch in the DOWN position. If resistance is not zero ohms, repair open back to master switch. If resistance is zero ohms, test switch(es). See COMPONENT TESTS  . If switches test okay, replace defective motor(s).
