Check Engine Light
The CHECK ENGINE light lets the driver know if the engine controller has recorded a system or sensor malfunctions. CHECK ENGINE light will come on if vehicle goes into a "limp-in" mode. The CHECK ENGINE can also be used to display fault codes. By cycling the ignition on, off, on, off and on within 5 seconds, the engine controller will display the fault codes in a series of flashes representing numbers.
