Engine Cooling Fan: Operation
When engine coolant temperature is greater than 190°F (88°C), the SBEC grounds the cooling fan relay to supply battery voltage to the cooling fan. Cooling fan relay is located in fuse/relay box, on passenger side of engine compartment.
When coolant temperature is less than 190°F (88°C), the SBEC opens the ground circuit, stopping cooling fan operation. Cooling fan will operate whenever A/C is in use.
