Circuit Test
- Remove switch bezel. Remove 4 switch-to-switch plate screws. Separate terminal plate halves, by releasing the barbed hooks, to expose wire terminal ends. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect one lead of test light to Black wire and connect other lead to Red terminal. See Fig 1
. Repeat test for second Black wire in master switch.
- If test light does not illuminate, remove test light lead from Black wire terminal and connect it to chassis ground. If test light illuminates, an open exists between master switch and ground.
- If test light still does not illuminate, check for a defective circuit breaker or an open in Red wire from circuit breaker to master switch.
