Housing Assembly Overhaul: Disassembly

1. Remove sector shaft seal retaining ring. Remove steel washer. Remove lower oil seal, steel washer and upper oil seal from housing. See Fig 1 . Press sector shaft bearing out of housing from lower end.
2. If hose connector seat needs replacement, use a 5/16" x 18 thread tap to tap seat. Thread connector seats ONLY 2-3 threads. Install bolt with flat washer and nut into seat. Hold bolt while tightening nut to extract seat.
