Instrument Panel Illumination Switch Check

Turn headlight switch on. Turn dash illumination switch on. Check operation of taillights. If taillights are not on, check headlight switch and wiring circuit for defect. Using DVOM, measure voltage at illumination switch connector terminal "D". See Figure . If battery voltage is not present, replace illumination switch.
