Valve Body: Inspection
- Clean all parts thoroughly in clean solvent and blow dry with moisture free compressed air.
- Replace valve body if any bores are scored or worn. Replace scored or worn valves, plugs or sleeves. Replace oil strainers if cut, torn or damaged.
- Inspect valve body springs. Replace any rusted, distorted, or collapsed springs. Measure length of each valve body spring. Replace any spring if free length is less than length specified. See LOWER BODY VALVE SPRING DIMENSIONS and UPPER BODY VALVE SPRING DIMENSIONS tables.
