Distributor R & I: Reassembly

  1. Install stator assembly and retaining screw. Position stator assembly harness through distributor housing and push grommet into position. See Figure . Install distributor shaft into distributor housing. Ensure seals are in place and not damaged (if equipped).
  2. Install distributor gear washer and distributor gear onto shaft. See Figure . Install distributor gear retaining roll pin. Install distributor rotor. Install distributor to engine.
