Driver Induced Fault

Driver induced fault(s) are caused by the driver improperly operating the vehicle. This causes the ECM to detect a fault with the system. Normally this is caused by the driver operating the vehicle with the parking brake applied, spinning the wheels due to high acceleration or low traction surface. Pumping or riding the brake pedal will also cause a fault.
