Master Cylinder/Booster, Modulator & Accumulator Assembly: Installation

1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install master cylinder push rod through bolt correctly. See Fig 1 . Install new nuts. DO NOT  overfill master cylinder reservoir. Ensure hydraulic lines are tight. Turn ignition on. If pump/motor assembly does not slow down, verify that the reservoir cap is removed during initial pump up.
2. Normal pump up time from zero (0) psi is 60-80 seconds. If pump does not stop in 1 1/2 minutes, turn ignition off and check for leaks. Check for fluid in supply line to pump. Pump noise and RPM does change as pressure increases. Bleed brake system (If necessary). See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
