All Instrument Panel Lights Out
- Turn headlight switch on. Turn dash illumination switch on. Ensure instrument panel dimming feature has not overridden illumination. Check all fuses, replace as necessary. Using DVOM, measure voltage at battery side of panel lights (ACC/LPS) fuse. See Figure . If there is not battery voltage present, repair open from illumination switch.
- Check battery feed/ground circuits. Turn headlight switch and illumination switch on for following voltage tests. Turn switches off for resistance tests.
- With DVOM, measure voltage at indicator light panel connector terminal No. 10. If not battery voltage, repair open in circuit from fuse panel.
- With DVOM, measure voltage at indicator light panel connector terminal No. 12. If not battery voltage, repair open in circuit from fuse panel or in jumper wire from terminal No. 10.
- Turn headlight switch off. Using DVOM, measure resistance from indicator light panel connector terminal No. 3 to ground. If reading is not zero ohms, repair open in circuit between indicator light panel connector and ground.
