Section 1 (Drive Axle - Front): Description

The Model 30 axle assembly is used on the Command-Trac system. The Model 30 and Model 44 axle assemblies are used on the Selec-Trac system. All models equipped with Command-Trac have a 2-piece axle shaft on the right side of the front differential, it is comprised of an outer axle shaft and intermediate axle shaft. All models equipped with Selec-Trac, have a standard 1-piece axle shaft on both sides of differential.
