Throttle Body (2.5L) R & I: Installation

  1. With a new gasket, install throttle body assembly on intake manifold. Tighten mounting nuts to 16 ft. lbs. (22 N.m). Reconnect all vacuum hoses, fuel supply and return tubes, and electrical connectors.
  2. Install throttle cable and return spring. Install lower bonnet assembly and retaining nuts. Install upper bonnet assembly. Connect negative battery cable.
