Pump/Motor Assembly: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT  overfill reservoir. Ensure hydraulic lines are not contacting engine or kinked. Ensure all hydraulic lines are tight. Turn ignition on. If pump/motor assembly does not slow down, verify that the reservoir cap is removed during initial pump up.
  2. Normal pump up time from zero (0) psi is 60-80 seconds. If pump does not stop in 1 1/2 minutes, turn ignition off and check for leaks. Check for fluid in supply line to pump. Pump noise and RPM does change as pressure increases. Bleed brake system (If necessary). See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
