Wiper Motor

For a problem with wipers, disconnect wiper motor connector. Measure resistance and voltages at wiper connector. Do this with ignition switch in "ACC" position for voltage test, and "OFF" position for resistance test.

1. Disconnect Black wire from wiper motor. In all ignition switch positions, battery voltage should be present at Lt. Green wire with tracer. With wiper switch in "LO" position, check for battery voltage at White wire with tracer.
2. With wiper switch in "HI" position, check for battery voltage at Dk. Blue wire with tracer. Check Black wire for zero ohms of resistance to ground. If all resistance and voltages check out good, replace wiper motor.
