Washer Pump

  1. If wiper will not operate, check windshield wiper washer circuit breaker. Check Black wire for good connections. If problem is with washer, check washer tank and hoses.
  2. Check washer pump. Remove electrical connector from pump. Turn washer switch to "ON" position and ignition switch to "ACCY" position. Check for battery voltage at Violet wire with tracer, at washer pump. Turn ignition to "OFF" position. Check ground to washer pump (Black wire). If ground is good and battery voltage is present at washer pump, replace washer pump.
