Cooling System Specifications: Maintenance
At 12,500 miles or 12 months, change engine coolant. Thereafter, change engine coolant at the start of winter. Maintain coolant level with a 50% mixture of ethylene glycol based anti-freeze and low mineral content water year-around.

CAUTION:
Do not stand in line with or near radiator fan when engine is running until fan has been checked for damage or loose parts. Never repair fan if damaged. Fan must be replaced as assembly.
Vehicle maintenance schedule "B" or (B) is on glovebox and engine emission control information decal. Check coolant condition annually. Drain, clean, flush and refill system if dirt or rust impairs cooling ability. Hoses and clamps should be inspected every 3 years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
