Preliminary Inspection

Ensure that cruise control wire harness is properly connected to regulator before starting diagnosis or repair procedure, as this connection is disturbed when Cruise Command System Tester (AM PC-1-R) is used. A poor connection at this point may be improperly diagnosed as a regulator malfunction. Brake light and clutch switch should be properly adjusted.
