Ignition Coil

Coil is oil-filled and sealed, and contains a primary and secondary circuit. Its basic function is to convert battery voltage applied to the primary circuit into high secondary voltage for firing the spark plugs.

The coil has positive and negative primary terminals and a single secondary terminal. A special coil connector slides over the primary terminals.
