Catalytic Converter

A 3-way catalytic converter and a conventional oxidizing catalyst are combined to form a dual bed converter. The dual bed converter has the ability to convert the following gases:

• Carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) to water vapor (H2O)and carbon dioxide (CO2).
• Nitrogen oxide (NOx) and carbon monoxide (CO) to nitrogen (N2) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
