Power Seats: Description

Jeep power seats can be adjusted 6 ways; up, down, forward, backward, tilt forward and tilt backward. The control switch is located on the left lower side of the driver's seat.

The switch has 3 levers; the middle lever raises or lowers the complete seat, as well as moving it forward or rearward. The 2 side levers raise or lower the front and back of the seat.

A permanent magnet reversible motor is connected by cables to rack and pinion assemblies located in the seat tracks. The circuit is protected by a 30 amp. circuit breaker on the fuse block.
