- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Check battery charge and condition. Record values
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for battery voltage related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for other transmission related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, reconfigure the transmission control module with the latest level software
- Clear DTCs and retest
- If the fault persists, refer to the appropriate Service Information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality. If the condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
