DTC P1770-06: Clutch Solenoid Circuit - Algorithm based failures: Action

NOTE: If this DTC is set, DO NOT replace any transmission components (for example, the transmission control module, the mechatronic or the gearbox). This DTC does not indicate a transmission issue

Prioritized steps to perform:
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for other transmission related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, reconfigure the transmission control module with the latest level software
Using the approved Jaguar Land Rover diagnostic equipment, run the TCM 8 Speed Gen3 Static Adaptation Learn application from TCM - ECU Functions
Perform a sufficient road test for the vehicle to reach normal operating temperature. Recheck DTCs using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment
If the fault persists, check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application
Refer to the appropriate Service Information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality. If the condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
