- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check for DTCs in the transmission control module and refer to the relevant DTC index. Rectify these DTCs first
- If no DTCs are present, check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application. Refer to the appropriate Service Information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality. If the condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
