DTC P07B9-11: Transmission Park Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Low - Circuit short to ground: Action

- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check for DTCs in the transmission control module relating to sensor power supply. Refer to the relevant DTC index. Rectify these DTCs first
- Check battery charge and condition
- Read all DTCs and investigate any DTCs relating to battery voltage supply
- Clear DTCs
- Start engine then engage and disengage Park several times
- If the fault persists, check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application. Refer to the appropriate Service Information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality. If the condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
