DTC U0101-87: Lost Communication with TCM - Missing message: Action

NOTE:

In the case of Battery Electric Vehicles, all transmission control module network handling is performed by the powertrain control module
Do NOT replace the anti-lock brake system control module for this DTC only

Make sure that all ECUs of the vehicle are connected to the network. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the FlexRay circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as required
Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the transmission control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as required
Perform an ignition cycle, clear the DTC and retest, if the problem persists contact JLR technical assistance
