Standard Speed Limiter

The speed limiter warning indicator will illuminate when the speed limiter feature has been selected. The system speed is set using the speed control 'SET+' and '-' switches. The selected speed is displayed in the Instrument Cluster (IC). The set speed can be adjusted at any time using the speed control 'SET+' or '-' switches. The speed limiter can be suspended by operating the 'Cancel' switch.

Speed limiter function can be resumed by operating the 'RES' switch, when:

• The vehicle is at the previously set speed limiter speed.
• The vehicle speed is up to a maximum of 30 km/h (19 mph) above the previous set speed.

If the vehicle speed is too high to resume speed limiter operation, a message will be displayed in the IC.

The speed limiter system allows full driver control of the vehicle speed up to the set speed. The speed limiter will restrict the vehicle speed and will not allow the speed to go over the set limit. If the driver is fully depressing the accelerator pedal, speed limiter will be temporarily overridden.
