DTC U0046-88: Vehicle Communication Bus C - Bus off: Action

NOTE: This Diagnostic Trouble Code refers to a CAN bus communications failure, DO NOT replace the side obstacle detection control module

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform a CAN network integrity test. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the high speed CAN bus (underbody) circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the circuit as necessary
